O Πολιτιστικός & Μορφωτικός Σύλλογος Φυτειών ‘’Ακαρνανικό Φως’’ σε συνεργασία με το Ν.Π.Δ.Δ Δήμου Ξηρομέρου σας προσκαλεί για ακόμη μία χρονιά στην Γιορτή Τσιγαρίδας. Πρόκειται για ένα έθιμο που έχει τις ρίζες του στο παρελθόν όπου οι οικογένειες χρησιμοποιούσαν το χοιρινό λίπος για τη διατήρηση των προϊόντων της. Το χοιρινό κρέας ,δε, τσιγαρίζονταν στα καζάνια με το λίπος του και πρόεκυπτε ένα λαχταριστό έδεσμα, οι τσιγαρίδες. Οι μνήμες αυτές, επιστρέφουν κάθε χρόνο στο χωριό μας συνοδευόμενες από τους ήχους παραδοσιακής μουσικής, κρασιού και παραδοσιακού χορού.
Σας περιμένουμε όλους την Τρίτη 26/12 και ώρα 10 π.μ στο χωριό μας να γευτείτε τις παραδοσιακές τσιγαρίδες σ΄ ένα ολοήμερο παραδοσιακό γλέντι.
